Become a teacher
Art Lab’s faculty is made up of professional artists who have the skills that are necessary to teach.  Our artists bring a unique style to each class and are committed to providing their students with the best possible resources for art education and appreciation.

Art Lab is always looking for new teachers for both classes at our facility and in the community.  If you are interested in becoming an Art Lab instructor, please send via post your resume, description of past teaching experience, examples of your work and ideas for classes.  Material can be sent to Art Lab, Inc. 1000 Richmond Terrace. Volunteer
An organization like Art Lab greatly values its strong volunteer staff.  Volunteer duties include office work, gallery maintenance, publicity support, and event coordinating.  If you are interested in learning more about volunteering please call the office for an interview.

Exhibiting Artists
Art Lab has two exhibition spaces for individual artists and community groups.  To learn more, please refer to our Gallery page.

Booking an activity
If you are a parent interested in having a birthday party or girl/boy scout activity at Art Lab, Art Lab hosts events tailored to suit your needs.  Art for a Day is a popular program for children ages 7 and up.

Public or Private school programming
Art Lab works with several elementary, intermediate and high schools on Staten Island.  If you are a teacher or parent coordinator for a local school and would like to learn more about what service Art Lab has to offer, please call the office to schedule an appointment. 

Shop at Art Lab
Original Artwork
Art Lab serves as a venue for artwork.  In gallery exhibitions, most work is for sale.  To be placed on Art Lab’s gallery mailing list, please call 718-447-8667 or e-mail us at artlabinc@earthlink.net.

In Art Lab’s main office, a variety of artwork is continuously shown.  Most paintings and sculptures are for sale.

If you are interested in something specific (landscape or portraiture) call us, and we will do our best to find you an artist!

Gift Certificates
Gift certificates can be purchased for dollar amounts and applied to a class or Art Lab’s supply store.Gift certificates can also be purchased for a specific class.

Art Lab Supply Store
Art Lab’s supply store, located in the main office, offers artists a varied selection of art materials.  Art Lab gives its students the convenience of buying supplies here at the school.  Gift certificates to Art Lab can be used for art supplies as well.  For more information about the supplies we sell, please call 718-447-8667.
